Satish Verma had started his career as an independent journalist 20 years ago. Later he associated with country’s famous crime based detective magazine Manohar Kahaniyan. Being a part of this magazine, he also wrote many research based stories for its associate magazine Satyakatha and Maya. One if his story had unfolded a racket, who were engaged in sell and purchase of Bangladeshi girls. The then vice-president of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma had honoured him with Srikant Verma Award for doing courageous detective and research oriented reporting. Satish Verma also got opportunity to write for National weekly Magzine Blitz.
