Osho was born Chandra Mohan Jain also known as Acharya Rajneesh. He was born in a small village in the state of Madhya Pradesh on 11 December 1931. He was an Indian mystic, spiritual guru, and philosopher who had international fame and followers. He died on 19 January 1990. Osho is one of the twentieth century’s most provocative and inspiring spiritual teachers. Known for his revolutionary contribution to the science of inner transformation, the influence of his teachings continues to grow, reaching seekers of all ages in virtually every country of the world.
