About the Author

Shri Hira Ballabh Joshi has been working towards establishment of a reformed, accessible, inclusive and economically viable Vriti (priestly profession) which is easily acceptable to the present society. He believes that the priestly function is like a nervous system of Sanatan – Hindu Dharma. Therefore, it needs to be given a due recognition in the society. Shri Joshi, a senior officer of Civil Services, hails from a family of Purohits and has extensively written on the Dharma Traditions of Bharat-varsha.
