Diamond Toons introduces ‘Little Chanakya’ a new character to fight Corona Virus

New Delhi, 28th January 2022: India has given a tough fight against coronavirus, and now it’s children who have taken the bold step to leave their homes. With an initiative of positively transitioning back to school, Diamond Toons has introduced a new character called ‘Little Chanakya’ in Back to School – Corona Comic Series. This special series of ‘talking comics’ will be a useful tool for children as they resume school, covering all the do’s & don’ts for children in this new coronavirus world. It will help and inform them how to be safe and fight corona in their lives. The newest member of the Diamond Toons family, Little Chanakya, is an intelligent, smart, and fearless nine-year-old boy whose brain works faster than electricity & makes fast calculations in a jiffy. Little Chanakya is a little naughty as well but always ready to help others.

Talking comics is a very effective medium to communicate, leading to behavioral change. The concept of ‘talking comic’ connects with all age groups demographically, in terms of language variation, and spreads awareness in an intelligent and quick-witted manner. The series has 4 titles: Little Chanakya & Back to School (Mask & Social Distancing), Little Chanakya and Handwash, Little Chanakya and Vaccination, and Little Chanakya Fights Corona @ School (combined 3 in 1 comic)—Mask, Social Distancing, Handwash, Vaccination. “The new post-corona world is the ‘new normal,’, so let’s prepare our kids to be safe and live their normal lives. To face this challenge, we have introduced the Little Chanakya Talking Comics Back to School Corona Special Comics Series. These comics emphasize the major checkpoints of the school where a child would make a mistake during their school life from the coronavirus protocol—bus, assembly, classroom, lunch break, and free period. A combination of illustrations & text—making communication an effective behavioral change tool across all media platforms—print, social, activation, mobile, and schools, libraries.” said Mr. Manish Verma, Director, of Diamond Toons.
