About the Author

Dr. Virendra Kumar Shekhar IPS (Retd.) was born on July 27, 1957. He completed his Ph.D. in Political Science, M.Sc. in Chemistry, and M.A. in Political Science from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (UP).Also, he did M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from Rajarshi Purusottam Das Tandon University, Prayagraj (UP) (formerly Allahabad). His passion for literature led him to write non-fictions and some “Gazal collections” too. He has received President’s Medal for Meritorious Service, and ‘Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant award’ (BPR and D, Government of India) for his book (Police vigyaan and Kalaa).
