About The Book

Yesh- आईना : Life’s Saanp Seedhi Through the Eyes of a Teen -: Yesh- Aina is a vibrant, deeply personal collection of stories capturing the unpredictable journey of growing up. Like a game of Saanp Seedhi, life throws unexpected highs and lows, and this book embraces them all-lessons learned, mistakes made, and the hilarity in between. Through the lens of a teenage girl navigating school, family, friendships, and her greatest love-the stage-these stories reflect the absurd, the beautiful, and the bittersweet moments of adolescence. From the sting of sibling comparisons to the unexpected shift from butter chicken to bhindi, every experience adds a stroke to the ever-evolving canvas of self-discovery. A South Delhi girl who once believed WiFi was a necessity but later found herself exploring village life without Google Maps, the author’s journey is one of contrasts. Theatre became her escape, a world where she wasn’t bound by grades but by the stories she could tell. With humor, introspection, and a touch of theatrical exaggeration, Aina isn’t just a mirror-it’s a perspective, sometimes clear, sometimes hilariously distorted, but always revealing something new. Whether you see your own journey reflected or simply enjoy the ride, this book reminds you that, ladder or snake, the game always goes on.
