The Immortal Philosopher Of India Swami Vivekananda

Many philosophers took birth in India from time to time who continued with the tradition of ancient Vedic saints. Swami Vivekananda is one among them—a Philosopher-thinker of modern India. He was the very epitome of lofty human values of generosity, kindness, celibacy etc. For him every creature was a part of the Supreme Being.
His power of contention was matchless. During the Chicago World Religion Congress his personality and oratorical skills made the whole world spellbound. He became very popular with the western world and delivered discourses in various places. This way the world had a true glimpse of the Indian Vedanta. Many people from America and Europe became his disciples.
Swami Vivekananda, on the one hand, propagated equality of all religions while, on the other hand, he was proud of being a Hindu.
