Varun Sahgal was born to a police officer father and a doctor mother in the city of Kolkata. After spending his initial days of pre schooling in Kolkata he has changed many different schools and experienced many different places travelling with his father and mother across the length and breadth of the country.
Varun finally completed his schooling from “The Naval Public school New Delhi” and graduate college from “The Institute of Hotel Management Aurangabad” affiliated with “IHCL” (Indian hotels company ltd/The Taj group of hotels) and the “University of Huddersfeild, UK”. He is currently a successful management intern with the Taj group of hotels in Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.
Varun’s avid interest in a wide variety of topics have won him a lot of accolades including the most prestigious global award in “The 5th global Spa and wellness summit” for designing the Spa of the future with his college team. He is not only an author but also has an interest in a lot of other art oriented fields like Photography, painting, music, dance and theater. “Shunya” is his second venture when it comes to writing. His first venture, a children’s fiction, “The Search for the Royal traitor” has been in the market for a while doing pretty well for itself.
