Note Mein Gandhi

‘Mahatma Gandhi made India achieve Independence’. The piqued agony of Gandhi Ji’s sad soul about India’s present plight is beckoned by the very image of Gandhi printed in the currency notes (of India). This satirical tale interwoven in the present context portrays the struggle-strong of a person which needs to be brooded over repeatedly by all through self-realization. The string of humanity weighs heavily on the societal norms which had a deep deliberation on the direction wherein the pious main stream could flow; where the Holy Ganga could traverse smoothly. This need for piety again calls for an incarnation as humanity reflected in the Gandhi’s image printed on the currency note seems to be breathing its last.
